- Determine eligibility for disability in accordance with contract provisions
- Frequently communicate with claimants who are on disability and drive discussions with a focus on ability and return to work
- Identify creative solutions to increase the potential of accommodations, working with the employee, employer and treatment provider(s)
- Identify early opportunities for intervention and resources available to accelerate recovery
- Work with team members and the company’s leaders to identify opportunities and solutions for process improvements and enhancements
- Maintain confidentiality within all privacy guidelines
- Create and execute dynamic Case Management plans that are proactive and support an early and safe return to work
- Work with the litigation and appeals team to assist in immediate resolution

- You are a seasoned case manager with knowledge in group insurance contracts and confident in the interpretation and delivery of contractual provisions

- Expert knowledge of Disability Management acquired through a minimum of 2-3 years of experience
- Post secondary education in Disability Management, Health and Safety or Insurance is an asset
- French language capabilities are an asset
- The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly evolving organization
