Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Toronto seeks an experienced administrative professional to support Estate and Insurance Advisors. You will deliver service initiatives, ensure compliance, and help grow the book of business by addressing client needs and coordinating with internal partners.

Requirements include 3–5 years of relevant experience, a post-secondary degree, and a Life Insurance License. Salary range CAD 35,900–66,300 and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of compliance rules (proprietary and industry).
  • Knowledge of Centralize.
  • Verbal & written communication skills in English and French - Good.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of administrative tasks and delivers service initiatives in support of Estate and Insurance Advisors (EIA). Provides services to EIA, their clients and business partners ensuring operational processes and compliance regulations are followed in order to contribute to the growth of insurance sales, mitigate risk, and support the efficient and effective operation of the business group.

  • Ensures the book of business is continuously developing.

  • Ensures client needs are met or exceeded by discussing services offered in detail, with a strong sense of appropriate product and service.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with clients and business partners through client acquisition from both internal sources (referrals) and external sources (marketing initiatives).

  • Provides exceptional client experience and service to ensure client needs are met or exceeded to enhance sales activities, referrals and client retention.

  • Addresses customer services issues according to established parameters, escalating as required.

  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver on business objectives.

  • Analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations.

  • Identifies gaps, issues and best practices through monitoring of sales and service performance targets against plans.

  • Supports the development of tailored messaging, which may include writing, editing and distributing communications.

  • Communicates with internal business/groups for execution of client request and issue resolution.

  • Organizes work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Completes complex & diverse tasks within given rules/limits and may include handling escalations from other employees.

  • Analyzes issues and determines next steps.

  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
