Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a Case Management Consultant to support disability case managers and drive client-focused case management across Canada. You will coach teams, strengthen tools and collaborate with training partners to improve performance and outcomes.

The role requires 3–5 years in disability case management, a bilingual (French/English) capability, and a university degree or college diploma. It offers a hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in disability case management, including short- and long-term disability.
• University degree or college diploma; education in occupational health, disability management or another health-related field is an asset.
• Bilingualism (French, English) is required to answer calls from English and French speaking clients across Canada and worldwide.
• Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of strategic interventions.
• Ability to listen with empathy, influence and negotiate while maintaining a commitment to quality service and results.

• Strengthen the team's use of case management tools and approaches, portfolio management and forecasting to support overall performance.
• Support employees with workload management, challenging cases, departmental workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with peers, Learning and Development trainers and Practice Excellence partners to identify learning opportunities and facilitate training, where appropriate.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and emerging trends to support service excellence, quality and financial commitments, and share relevant learnings more broadly.

As a Case Management Consultant with Group Disability, you will coach and support disability case managers in delivering client-focused case management and achieving results.
