Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Montessori Lead Teacher in creating an enriching educational experience for our students. As a Montessori Assistant, you will contribute to the implementation of the Montessori method, promoting independence, curiosity, and a love for learning in our students.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Support: Assist the Montessori Lead Teacher in preparing and maintaining a well-organized and engaging classroom environment.
• Student Guidance: Guide and support students in their daily activities, fostering independence and self-confidence.
• Materials Preparation: Assist in the preparation and organization of Montessori materials, ensuring they are readily available for student use.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Montessori Lead Teacher and other team members to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Observation: Actively observe and assess student behavior, learning styles, and developmental needs, contributing valuable insights to the educational planning process.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any relevant observations.

Qualifications

• – Montessori Assistant Certification or relevant education/training.
• – Previous Experience In a Montessori Environment Is Preferred.
• – Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
