Overview

Prince Edward Montessori School – West campus, is located in the beautiful Kingsway area of Toronto in a quiet neighbourhood steps from shops, bakeries, markets and restaurants. We are also within easy walking distance of the Royal York subway and several bus lines.

Position Details

We are currently looking for a Casa guide for September 2025. If you are a warm, caring and professional individual with a keen interest in Montessori pedagogy and a genuine love of children, we would like to meet with you.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills with a good command of the English language, both written and oral as well as a desire to develop their Montessori teaching skills on an on going basis through seminars, workshops etc.

This position requires someone who is able to work well within a small team and has a positive attitude, with a desire to contribute ideas and be open to others’ ideas. The ideal candidate will be flexible, positive, and motivated to demonstrate the attributes of the Montessori philosophy in their daily life.

Qualifications

In addition to holding a Casa Diploma, from an accredited Montessori program, you will require a Vulnerable Sector Police check as well as standard training in CPR/First Aid. All applicants must provide two professional references. References may include educators.
