- Recruits newcomers and/or refugees displaced by conflict or natural disasters (e.g., Ukraine, Afghanistan).
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Offers mentorship programs pairing newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develops and maintains relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
- Provides cultural competency and awareness training to all employees to foster inclusivity for Indigenous workers.
- Facilitates access to Elders for support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
Support for visible minorities:
- Implements hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities (e.g., anonymizing the hiring process).
- Offers mentorship programs pairing visible minorities with experienced employees.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to foster an inclusive work environment for visible minorities.
