  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees displaced by conflict or natural disasters (e.g., Ukraine, Afghanistan).
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Offers mentorship programs pairing newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
  • Provides cultural competency and awareness training to all employees to foster inclusivity for Indigenous workers.
  • Facilitates access to Elders for support and guidance to Indigenous workers.

Support for visible minorities:

  • Implements hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities (e.g., anonymizing the hiring process).
  • Offers mentorship programs pairing visible minorities with experienced employees.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to foster an inclusive work environment for visible minorities.
