We are currently recruiting for Journeyperson Carpenters to join the team at the Rossdale Water Treatment Plant in Edmonton .

This position is in Edmonton, AB and does not include camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance. The shift is 5 days on, 2 days off, which may involve some Saturdays.

As a Journeyperson Carpenter, You Will

  • Build forms for concrete (Peri Forms)
  • Cut, shape, and join materials
  • Identify and fix deficiencies
  • Build hoarding and other temporary structures
  • Check work accuracy and make adjustments as needed
  • Study blueprints for work planning
  • Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground structures
  • Act as a work leader and mentor to apprentice carpenters
  • Report abnormalities or defects to supervisors and take appropriate measures
  • Maintain site cleanliness and safety

Requirements

  • Preference for recognized provincial Journeyperson Carpenter Ticket
  • Non-ticketed carpenters must provide relevant work hours in industrial carpentry
  • Experience with PERI Formwork is an asset
  • Certifications : CSTS & WHMIS
  • Fall Protection certification is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and regulations
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
