We are recruiting a Journeyperson Carpenter to join the team at the Rossdale Water Treatment Plant in Edmonton.

This position is in Edmonton, AB, and does not include camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance. The shift is 5 days on, 2 days off, with potential Saturday work.

As a Journeyperson Carpenter, You Will:
  • Build forms for concrete (Peri Forms)
  • Cut, shape, and join materials
  • Identify and fix deficiencies
  • Build hoarding and other temporary structures
  • Check accuracy of work and make adjustments as needed
  • Study blueprints for work planning
  • Construct forms and chutes for concrete pouring
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground structures
  • Act as a work leader and mentor apprentices
  • Report abnormalities or defects to supervisors and take appropriate action
  • Maintain general site upkeep
Requirements:
  • Journeyperson Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial authority preferred
  • Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of relevant work hours
  • Experience with PERI Formwork is an asset
  • Certifications: CSTS & WHMIS
  • Fall Protection certification is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and regulations
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
