Located in the Southern Athabasca region, MEG’s Christina Lake Project is a multi-phased project approximately 150 kilometers South of Fort McMurray in Northeast Alberta. Comprised of approximately 200 square kilometers of leases, this SAGD operation currently has regulatory approvals in place to produce approximately 210,000 bpd. All workers will be staying at the state-of-the-art Poplar Ridge Lodge, which boasts a gym, rec area, commissary, laundry facility, Wi-Fi, cable, custom sandwiches, as well as full breakfasts and dinners. We have an amazing, experienced site team at MEG Energy who have safety and efficient work practices at the top of mind.

Jardeg is recruiting Carpenter Journeypersons to join the team at MEG Energy Capital Projects on site near Conklin, Alberta. Temporary full-time positions. Embrace a well-balanced schedule, working 22-days on and 6-days off rotation, with each workday consisting of 11 hours. Drive-in/drive-out to site with Travel Allowance provided.

  • Currently a $500 ($250 each way) Travel Allowance is offered with the requirement to drive to and from site each shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct, erect, install, maintain and repair structures and components of structures made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
