We are seeking a Carpenter Helper to join our manufacturing facility in Kamloops, BC. Under the guidance of the Lead Hand, the Carpenter Helper will assist in assembling modular units and components, adhering to safety procedures and company policies, while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards.

This role involves assisting in the assembly of modular building components, including floors, walls, and roofs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing sheeting materials such as subfloors, walls, and roofing using various materials.
• Help assemble doors, windows, trim, and millwork, including hardware installation and painting.
• Gather materials needed for assembly and install small finishing items.
• Pre-assemble components and interpret blueprints.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

• A team player and safety-conscious, capable of handling materials and operating tools safely.
• Experience in residential carpentry with basic communication skills.
• Modular unit assembly experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs unassisted and 35 lbs overhead.
• Capable of standing, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
