Job Description

The carpenter constructs and maintains buildings. Responsibilities include hanging doors, installing hardware, setting windows, stair and rafter layout, formwork, and blueprint reading. Proficiency in these tasks and skills in estimating materials are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman carpenter’s certificate; Red Seal is an asset
• Valid EWP and fall protection tickets are preferred
• Experience with Peri formwork is an asset
• SiteReadyBC certification required
• Knowledge of safe tool operation, workplace safety, and first aid/CPR
