Providence Health Care in Vancouver is recruiting a journeyman carpenter to join the facilities team for the new St. Paul’s Hospital project. You will construct, repair, and maintain woodwork, doors, and fixtures, and interpret blueprints to support safe, efficient patient care spaces.
Reporting to the Building Supervisor, you will work on site with skilled tradespeople, perform related maintenance, and help ensure durable, high‑quality finishes across the new health campus opening in 2027.
The salary range for this position is CAD $40.64/Hr. - CAD $40.64/Hr.
The hours of work, including start and stop times, days off, work area and work site may be subject to change consistent with operations requirements and applicable provisions of the Collective Agreement and statutes. Testing may be required. ***A criminal record check may be required.

Located on the Jim Pattison Medical Campus in Vancouver’s False Creek Flats, this state-of-the-art facility will provide integrated, compassionate care across a wide range of specialties while incorporating advanced technologies, sustainable design, and innovative infrastructure. As a Carpenter, you will play a key role in supporting the functionality, safety, and appearance of this world‑class healthcare environment. Reporting to the Building Supervisor, you will perform skilled journeyman‑level carpentry work in the construction, repair, and maintenance of structural elements, fixtures, fittings, and furniture throughout the facility. Your expertise will help ensure hospital spaces remain safe, efficient, and well‑maintained, supporting exceptional care for patients, families, and staff.
