Job Description:

CapWest is a fast-growing, well-established forming contractor with a diverse project portfolio across the lower mainland. We have an experienced team of construction professionals and are seeking motivated candidates to join us in Vancouver as a Carpenter.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-fabricate and install formwork, ensuring quality control.
• Install forms for footings, walls, columns, slabs, and stairs.
• Remove formwork after concrete pours.
• Erect scaffolding and build formwork decks.
• Read blueprints and take measurements accurately.
• Maintain safety standards and communicate with the Foreman regarding site issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of carpentry experience, including framing, formwork, and finishing.
• Experience on high-rise construction sites.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to assess hazards and work at heights.
