Title of the position- Carpenter

Job duties:

1. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements

2. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

3. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring and erect walls and roof systems

4. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware

5. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites

6. Estimate costs and materials

Job Duties:

Perform high-quality carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, heritage restoration, and custom woodworking.

Maintain clear communication with project supervisors, teammates, and occasionally clients.

Participate in site setup, maintenance, and cleanup.

Assist in sourcing materials and estimating time and resources needed for project completion.

Terms of employment: Permanent full time.

Language of work- English

Wages: $ 35/hr, full time, permanent position (40 hrs + week), work on weekends occassionally

Location of work: various locations throughout Lower Mainland.
