Job summary

CJ Woodworking Ltd is seeking a skilled carpenter to perform on-site construction tasks at our Surrey, BC location. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring and laying out work, and supervising apprentices and other workers to ensure quality workmanship.

The candidate should be able to prepare labour and material cost estimates, follow building codes, and coordinate site activities with the crew. This position is on-site with a focus on carpentry and woodwork.

Qualifications

• Secondary education completed with basic carpentry or construction exposure.
• Experience reading blueprints and building plans is required.
• Must be able to supervise crew and instruct apprentices.
• Ability to estimate labour and material costs.
