Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience.
• Credentials: 4th/1st/2nd/3rd Period Apprentices, Carpenter Trade Certification, PPE training.
• Must have own transportation.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal awareness.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Physically demanding and able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes.
• Use measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches.
• Determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials (wood, wood substitutes, steel).
• Supervise other workers.
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Own tools and safety equipment/gear.

• The candidate does not require any degree, certificate or diploma
• The candidate should have an experience of at least 5 years or more.
• The candidate should have credentials of 4th Period Apprentice, 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, Carpenter Trade Certification, Personal protective equipment (PPE) training.
• The candidate should have their own transportation.
• The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
