Carlino is looking for a Server Assistant to join the team

Carlino, a Michelin-recommended Italian restaurant in the downtown core focusing on the rustic cuisine of Friuli, is looking for a Server Assistant to join our close-knit team! This position will primarily be morning/daytime shifts with potential to pick up evening shifts as well. Please note, Sunday morning availability required.

Duties include:

1. Interacting with guests
2. Greeting and seating
3. Expediting the kitchen pass and running food
4. Clearing and re-setting tables
5. Managing reservations
6. Fulfilling server drink and coffee orders
7. Supporting the service team wherever necessary to create flawless and memorable guest experiences

You have:

1. A positive, warm attitude
2. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
3. Previous experience in a similar role (counter service, caffe service, and/or bussing)
4. A keen eye and attention to detail
5. Serving it Right certification
6. Italian food & wine knowledge is considered an asset
7. Barista experience considered an asset
