Schlegel Villages is seeking a Food Service Aide at Riverside Glen to join our caring team. You will assist in serving meals and beverages to residents while respecting diets and food preferences, and you will support catering events and maintain a clean dining area.

The role requires standing for most shifts and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid Smart Serve and Food Handler certifications are required, and there are strong opportunities for growth within our family-owned organization that

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Must have valid Smart Serve and Food Handler certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver carts safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents.
• Ensure diets and food preferences are respected with safe handling.
• Support catering functions and maintain a clean dining area.
• Stand or walk for the majority of shifts (up to 8 hours).
• Work accurately, quickly and as part of a team.
