The Caretaking Department requires four casual Caretaker II positions to start in Mid-April or by May 1, 2025. Reporting to the Manager, Caretaking Services, these positions involve janitorial work including general cleaning, recycling, assisting with minor maintenance projects, and operating cleaning equipment. Responsibilities also include thoroughly cleaning residence apartments for move-out, and working a minimum of three days per week for Conference & Event Services, which involves cleaning hotel rooms, making beds, cleaning laundry, folding, and inventorying linen. Successful applicants will receive full training prior to commencing work. Candidates must meet the Caretaking Expectations, follow standard operating procedures and safety practices, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Essential qualities include excellent time management and efficiency.
Salary: $19.22/hour.
