Location:

Holland Elementary School + Ste. Foy Elementary School

Job Percentage:

100% of 38.75 hours

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Holland Elementary School and 7:45 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Ste. Foy Elementary School (including 30 minutes paid transportation)

Nature of the Work:

The principal duties involve executing and supervising preventive and physical maintenance in educational institutions during evening or night hours. Responsibilities are carried out in the absence of the caretaker class II, foreman, or school principal, covering an area of less than 9275 m2.

Characteristic Functions:

The employee ensures cleanliness and performs scheduled maintenance tasks, supervises maintenance work by others, and maintains equipment in good condition. Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining lighting, heating, ventilation systems, and furnaces; performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs; monitoring repairs by others; repairing doors, windows, furniture; assembling and installing equipment; ensuring security measures; monitoring visitors and staff as needed; preparing facilities; submitting material requests; ensuring compliance with safety standards; and making suggestions for improvements. Supervision of other non-specialized employees and the use of computers and software are also part of the role. Additional related duties may be assigned as necessary.
