Job summary

Right at Home Canada is seeking compassionate in-home care professionals to support clients with daily living activities in their own homes across the Fraser Valley area. You will provide personal care, meal prep, mobility assistance and medication reminders within a supportive team framework.

Requirements include HCA certification or equivalent, valid CPR/First Aid, ability to work independently, reliable transportation, and a clean vulnerable-safety check.

Qualifications

• HCA certification or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently with support from the care team.
• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check required.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• CPR & First Aid an asset.
• Must have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care and patient-specific activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:
• Help with clients personal hygiene care
• Assist with dressing/undressing
• Prepare meals and food safety monitoring
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping activities
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Use lifting equipment such as transfer belts and Hoyer lifts

• Valid CPR & First Aid an asset
• Must have access to use of a vehicle
• Business insurance will be needed
