Job summary

A home care provider in Calgary, Alberta is seeking caregivers who are passionate about enhancing the aging experience through personal support. Responsibilities include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and executing care plans. Candidates with at least one year of caregiving experience and a valid driver's license are preferred. Competitive pay ranging from $13 to $15 per hour is offered along with 24/7 support for staff.

Qualifications

  • 1 year previous caregiving experience is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.
  • Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

What We Offer

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or companionship and personal care
  • Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
  • Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Service the Henry County area
  • Look for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends
Requirements
  • 1 year previous caregiving experience
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English; other languages are an asset
  • Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
  • Must be able to legally work in USA to apply for this position
  • Valid driver’s license is required
