hce-careers is seeking a Full-Time Caregiver to support seniors at home in Alberta. You will assist with daily personal care, meals, hygiene, mobility, and companionship, helping clients remain independent and safe in their own homes.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication, reliable scheduling, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, home health aide, PCA, or CNA preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to earn it soon.
• Confidence with housekeeping, meal prep, and safe transfer techniques.
• Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy.
• Strength to assist transfers or lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and dignity, assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare healthy meals and keep living spaces clean and organized.
• Provide medication reminders and track basic health cues.
• Offer active companionship, conversation, games, and errands support.
• Assist with light exercise or stretches as directed by professionals.
