Job summary

TD Bank Group in Toronto is seeking a Financial Planner to empower mass affluent clients through holistic financial planning and advice. You will build a portfolio from the ground up in a unique entrepreneurial model, with commission-based compensation and a guaranteed base salary during the first four years.

You will partner with clients to understand their life goals, conduct in-depth reviews, and deliver tailored investment advice, while pursuing the CFP designation and CIRO licensing as part

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in banking services with a track record of managing client relationships and providing tailored investment advice (preferred).
  • Willingness to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).
  • Commitment to achieving the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within the first three years in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand life and financial objectives and conduct in-depth financial reviews.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to analyze results and develop recommendations for financial programs and practices.
  • Collaborate with team to achieve objectives while enhancing client experience and service quality.
  • Monitor productivity and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Mentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of risk management and strong controls.
