About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Manager and working under supervision of regulated health professionals, the Care Team Assistant provides direct patient care based on needs. Responsibilities include supporting activities of daily living, reinforcing patient and family teaching, and collaborating with the care team.

About You

We welcome candidates with:

  • Continuing Care Assistant Program
  • Provincial Certification with the Department of Health and Wellness (must submit certification and be registered with the CCA Registry; see link for details)
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Effective listening and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Language skills other than English are assets, with French preferred

If no applicants have provincial certification, consideration may be given to candidates eligible to write the CCA knowledge exam and obtain certification within 1 year of hire. Please ensure your resume is current and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.

Hours
  • Long Assignment, Full Time; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • End date approximately December 2026; dates are subject to change
Compensation and Benefits

$24.91 - $27.68 hourly
