About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Manager and working under supervision of regulated health professionals, the Care Team Assistant provides direct care based on patient needs. As part of the collaborative care team, responsibilities include supporting patients' activities of daily living, reinforcing patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and care plans.

About You

We are interested in candidates who have:

  • Continuing Care Assistant Program certification
  • Provincial Certification with the Department of Health and Wellness (must submit certification and be registered with the CCA Registry)
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Effective listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Competency in other languages, especially French, is an asset

If no applicants have provincial certification, candidates eligible to write the CCA knowledge exam and obtain certification within one year of hire will be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

$24.42 - $26.47 hourly. Successful candidates may be eligible for benefits including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, life insurance, and a pension plan.
