Nova Scotia Health is hiring a Care Team Assistant for Simpson Landing in Central Zone, Nova Scotia Hospital, to provide direct, hands-on care under supervision of health professionals and support patients' activities of daily living as part of the care team.

Ideal candidates will have provincial CCA certification, BLS, and prior experience in mental health, with strong communication skills; French is a plus. Casual shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Formación

• Must hold Continuing Care Assistant Program credential.
• Provincial Certification with Department of Health and Wellness and be registered with the CCA Registry.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Previous experience in mental health is required.
• Effective verbal and written communication; French language skills are an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Support patients' activities of daily living per plan of care.
• Reinforce patient and family teaching according to guidelines in the care plan.
