Job description

Care Professionals needed in the Sarnia and surrounding areas, including Strathroy and Grand Bend.

Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team and help us enhance the lives of aging adults in our community. We provide non-medical services that enable seniors to remain in their homes and face aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s Care (Previous experience not necessary; skills training provided)

Requirements To Be a Care Professional:

• Must be PSW Certified or have completed 1 year of Nursing
• Ability to treat and care for community members and their property with dignity and respect
• Friendly and effective communication skills
• Complete a criminal background check and provide two professional and two personal references
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; driver’s abstract required
• Own a computer and a cell phone
