Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Caregiver to be the heart of our resident-centered care. You will provide hands-on support with ADLs, assist with mobility, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

You’ll follow individualized service plans, document changes, and engage residents in daily activities and conversations. CPR/First Aid and compassionate communication are valued as you support families and care leaders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for memory care residents.

This position is classified as a casual role. Casual employees work on an as‑needed basis with no guaranteed hours and are not considered permanent employees. Employment is not guaranteed for any specific duration and may be ended at any time in accordance with applicable employment standards.
