Job summary

Lifemark Physiotherapy Blackburn & Taylor Kidd in Kingston, ON is seeking a Care Coordinator to support patient intake, scheduling, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple duties with minimal supervision in a busy physiotherapy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• High degree of organizational and multi-tasking skills in a busy and fast-paced work environment
• 1-5 years experience performing a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer savvy and data entry skills in a physiotherapy clinic setting will be an asset
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns
• Coordinate a detailed and accurate intake of information on the patient's first visit to the clinic and throughout their treatment plan
• Assist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information
• Coordinatescheduling ofpatient appointments and maintain the patient’smedical record
• Collect payment at time of service
• Track coverage for all funding streams to ensure approval
• Complete data entry and billing
• Coordinate courier packages (in or outgoing) and process incoming and outgoing email, mail and faxes
• Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director
