Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud in St. Pierre-Jolys is seeking a Health Care Aide (HCA) to support residents in daily living activities per the care plan. This in-person role reports to nursing leadership and follows established practice standards.

The HCA will work to full scope of practice, participate in ongoing education and certifications, and provide person-centered care in alignment with provincial standards and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to residents/patients in activities of daily living as identified in the care plan.
• Work to full scope of practice and engage in education and certifications to maintain competency.
• Provide person-centered care according to Accreditation Canada Standards, Personal Care Home Standards, and legislative requirements.
