Job Opportunity: Patient Care Associate (PCA) at Brigham and Women's Hospital

We are offering a $750.00 sign-on bonus to eligible new employees hired in our PCA positions.

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist RNs with clinical tasks such as glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
  • Respond proactively to patient and family needs and support efficient unit operations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a nursing assistant required upon hire, unless the applicant is a nursing student who has completed fundamentals of nursing with clinical experience. Preference for nursing students enrolled in BSN or direct-entry Master's programs.
  • Bi-lingual skills preferred.
  • Prior clinical experience and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.
  • May not hold a current nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by AHA or Red Cross required upon hire.
