Job summary

Covenant Health Canada in Edmonton is seeking a Cardiology Technologist I to perform 12-, 15-, and 18-lead ECG recordings and cardio stress testing under supervision. You will apply and report on holter monitors, arrhythmia recordings, and ensure patient care with clear explanations and compassionate support.

The role requires CSCT/ASRCT registration, BLS CPR, and acute care experience; familiarity with ECG equipment such as GE Case or MUSE is a plus. FTE 1.00, shifts days/evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of recognized Cardiology Technologist program.
• ASRCT and CSCT registrations required.
• Basic Life Support Level C (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-, 15-, and 18-lead ECG recordings across the hospital.
• Conduct exercise stress testing under supervision.
• Apply, initiate, download, and report on holter monitors.
• Apply and download arrhythmia monitor recordings.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms accurately and report abnormalities promptly.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot department equipment.
• Explain tests clearly and provide compassionate patient care.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and coordinate with staff.
