Salary: The salary range for this position is CAD $35.27 - $44.05 / hour

Job Summary

We’re hiring Casual Cardiology Technologists (Diploma) to join our team at Delta Hospital located in Delta, BC.

Delta is a vibrant and rapidly growing suburban city where urban and rural landscapes blend together. The city includes Ladner, Tsawwassen, and North Delta, featuring oceanfront beaches and views of Mount Baker.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ECG testing, stress testing, holter, and ABP monitoring.
2. Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
3. Analyze test strips and summarize data for physician interpretation.
4. Assist with Pacemaker interrogation and documentation under supervision.
5. Enter patient data into Meditech and maintain records.
6. Maintain equipment and report repairs.
7. Train staff and students in ECG procedures.
8. Distribute reports and assist in policy updates.
9. Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications

Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Diploma program plus two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination. Certification by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) is required.
