Salary : The salary range for this position is CAD $35.27 - $44.05 / hour.

Job Summary

We are currently looking to fill a Relief Part-Time opportunity for a Cardiology Technologist - Staff (Diploma) at Burnaby Hospital . This position is available until August 2026 or until the return of the incumbent.

The Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project is a multi-phase project to modernize the hospital into a comprehensive medical and surgical health care campus, including an expanded Emergency Department, new health care pavilion, operating rooms, and more.

Burnaby Hospital offers a range of services including emergency medicine, critical care, medical imaging, internal medicine, neurology, gastroenterology, oncology, and extensive surgical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ECG testing, stress testing, holter, ABP monitoring, and related procedures.
  • Explain procedures and prepare patients.
  • Analyze and interpret test strips; assist with Pacemaker interrogation under supervision.
  • Enter data into Meditech, maintain records, and distribute reports.
  • Train staff and students, maintain equipment, and assist in policy development.

Qualifications

Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level plus two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination. CSCT certification is required.

  • Effective communication, organization, and operation of related equipment.
  • Physical ability to perform duties.
