Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

Language Requirement: French essential and spoken English

Salary: $30.31 to $37.93 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent will perform ECG tests and Holter and blood pressure monitoring exams. They will also do some filing and work with the ECG computer system.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Member in good standing of the New Brunswick Society of Cardiology Technologists;
2. Successful completion of an Electrocardiography Technician course;
3. Have succeeded in the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists exam;
4. Ability to transcribe and type texts with medical terminology;
5. Knowledge of computer systems;
6. Recognized skills in organizing and managing the workload;
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
8. Ability to adapt in a changing work environment;
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
10. Physical ability to perform duties;
11. Good previous work performance and attendance;
12. Adherence to professional ethics, network management philosophy, and organizational values;
13. Compliance with confidentiality rules established by the Vitality Health Network.
