Are you a registered Cardiology Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Cardiac Testing-ECG/Holter department.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the Cardiology Technologist performs techniques related to Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter and event Recorders, pacemaker monitoring, and other types of diagnostic cardiac equipment.
About University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC)
UHNBC is the largest Acute Care facility within the Northern Health region and a hub for specialized health services. It’s also a teaching hospital:
- Provides undergraduate physician training through the Northern Medical Program, run by the University of British Columbia and University of Northern British Columbia.
- Hosts residents in UBC’s Family Practice Residency Program.
- Is a key clinical education site for nursing and many health sciences students at UNBC, the College of New Caledonia, BCIT, and other institutions.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Cardiology Technology plus 2 years recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Successful completion of the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT) certification exam.
- Eligible for membership with the Cardiology Technologist Association of British Columbia (CTABC).
