The salary range for this position is CAD $36.61 - $45.73 per hour.

Under the direction of the Manager or Supervisor, performs pacemaker analysis and programs pacemakers to correct values/optimal settings within clinics, operating rooms, or various hospital areas. Assists surgeons during implant procedures within the OR. Conducts tests such as Electro Cardiogram (ECG), stress testing, holter, and pacemaker programming, monitoring, and related procedures; provides interpretations, analyses, and reports as needed. Monitors pacemaker functions, reports abnormalities, and troubleshoots issues. Participates in developing and reviewing standards, procedures, and instructional materials relevant to pacemaker services; assists in training staff and residents in pacemaker functions and programming.
Education and Experience
Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level, successful completion of a recognized pacemaker specialty exam, and two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Certification from the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) is required.
