Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Program Manager to join our client's team in Calgary, AB. This role will focus on overseeing a diverse portfolio of facility projects within the program, ensuring that project controls, cost management, and scheduling are executed effectively and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project controls (10+ years), with a deep understanding of cost controls and scheduling processes. This is a full-time office-based role (Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day), with the option to work from home on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage 20-25 facility projects ranging in value from $500,000 to $3 million, with select projects valued between $10 million to $15 million.
2. Oversee project scheduling, cost controls, and reporting to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
3. Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to drive project success.
4. Utilize Primavera P6 for scheduling and project tracking.
5. Create and maintain detailed project cost reports, ensuring accurate forecasts and tracking.
6. Provide expert guidance on project controls processes and tools, ensuring all projects align with organizational standards and goals.
7. Assist in improving and streamlining project management and controls processes.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, with a focus on cost controls and scheduling.
2. Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
3. Advanced Excel skills are required (including pivot tables, formulas, and complex data analysis).
4. Experience with JD Edwards and Omega 365/PIMs is an asset but not required.
5. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
6. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
