Job summary

The Mosaic Company in Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Capital Project Engineer to manage sustaining capital projects in the refinery or mine area. You will lead projects from concept through commissioning, partnering with operations and maintenance teams to improve reliability and production performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and increasing levels of experience (Engineer II/III/Senior).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Proven leadership and ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in large industrial, mining, or heavy-process environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and delivery of projects within Mosaic's CPM process.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams, engineering consultants, contractors, and external service providers.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, risk registers, cost forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Prepare and present project updates and strategic recommendations to site leadership.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, reliability, and production teams to improve safety and asset performance.
• Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring all project activities meet site safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
• Drive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned and best practices.
