Job summary

PlanIT Search is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Associate to join our Montreal team. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in Capital Markets Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support or Back Office and a solid understanding of FX and/or Rates products.

You will support the trade lifecycle from Front Office execution through post-trade processing, review trade data for accuracy, and partner with Middle Office and Back Office teams to resolve breaks.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Capital Markets Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support or Back Office.
• Good understanding of FX and/or Rates products.
• Experience with trade booking, reconciliation, settlement or post-trade processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with high volumes and time-sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to learn new products and processes quickly.
• Experience with Calypso or similar trading/processing systems is an asset.
• Experience with derivatives, swaps, repo or collateral is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work arrangement: The role will initially require 5 days onsite for the first 3 months, followed by a hybrid schedule of approximately 3 days onsite per week.
