Retail Store Manager - Cannabis

Note: Only candidates with experience in Retail Cannabis Management will be considered.

We have partnered with the fastest-growing Cannabis retail company.

Our client is expanding again and is seeking a Store Manager for their Simcoe, Ontario location.

The candidate they seek must have experience in Cannabis, be responsible for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and staff training and development. You will work to foster client loyalty and expand our brand presence. The ideal candidate will spearhead these efforts with a customer-centric attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and customer-focused store culture
  • Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Monitor and drive sales performance through KPIs
  • Train team members on cannabis products and customer service best practices
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, encouraging repeat visits and loyalty

Operations

  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with all AGCO and Health Canada cannabis regulations

Financial Accountability

  • Develop and manage store budgets
  • Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Work to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals

Qualifications

Must have:

  • 2+ years of Cannabis retail management experience
  • Must be 19+ years of age
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software
