Job summary

Cannabis Production & Cultivation Team Member position in Bradford, ON is now open. We are hiring for hands-on roles across Cultivation (Flower Room), Propagation, and Post-Harvest Processing to support a regulated cannabis facility.

Candidates should be capable of following SOPs, working in a controlled, warm and humid environment, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Shifts include morning and afternoon with weekend/after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, greenhouse, horticulture, or cannabis cultivation is an asset.
• Experience with plant propagation or post-harvest processing is an asset.
• Ability to follow SOPs and instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Plant care and crop maintenance, including pruning, defoliating, watering, transplanting and harvesting.
• Assisting with plant propagation, including cloning, cutting and rooting.
• Monitoring plants for health, pests, diseases and abnormalities.
• Post-harvest activities including drying, curing, trimming and packaging.
• Cleaning and sanitizing production areas, equipment and tools.
• Labeling, documenting and tracking processed materials.
• Following SOPs, sanitation, biosecurity and quality requirements.

Cannabis Production & Cultivation Team Member in Bradford, ON

We are currently hiring Production & Cultivation Team Members to support operations at a regulated cannabis cultivation and production facility in Bradford, ON.

Multiple opportunities are available across Cultivation (Flower Room), Propagation, and Post-Harvest Processing. Candidates may be considered for different areas based on their previous experience, skills, and operational needs.

Shift Schedule:

Morning shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday Pay rate: $17.95/ hr plus 4% vacation pay

Afternoon shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am, Monday to Friday Pay rate: $18.50/ hr plus 4% vacation pay

Depending on the assigned department, responsibilities may include:

• Plant care and crop maintenance, including pruning, defoliating, watering, transplanting and harvesting
• Assisting with plant propagation, including cloning, cutting and rooting
• Monitoring plants for health, pests, diseases and abnormalities
• Post-harvest activities including drying, curing, trimming and packaging
• Cleaning and sanitizing production areas, equipment and tools
• Labeling, documenting and tracking processed materials
• Following SOPs, sanitation, biosecurity and quality requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Following all required health, safety and PPE procedures
• Other production and cultivation duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, greenhouse, horticulture, agriculture, plant care or cannabis cultivation is an asset
• Experience with plant propagation or post-harvest processing is an asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to follow SOPs and instructions accurately
• Comfortable working in a regulated production environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Able to lift, push and pull up to approximately 30 lbs
• Comfortable working in warm and humid conditions
• Comfortable wearing full PPE as required
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays or after-hours when required
• This is a hands-on position in a regulated cannabis production facility. Depending on the department, employees may work with live plants, harvested cannabis material, grow lights, production equipment and cleaning/sanitation products.
• Work Temperatures range from 20 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius with humidity 50-70%
• Full PPE is required in designated production areas.
