Job summary

Auxly is seeking a motivated General Labourer to join our cultivation and post-harvest team in Staples, ON. This hands-on role supports a fast-growing cannabis company dedicated to quality and safety.

You’ll help care for plants through all growth stages, assist with production records, sanitation, and equipment setup, with 10–12 hour shifts and weekend work as needed. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Education or experience in horticulture, agriculture, or production is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precision.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on environment with a small, collaborative team.
• Dependable, organized, and focused on quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently while contributing to shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Care for and maintain cannabis plants through all stages of cultivation — cloning, transplanting, pruning, pest management, harvesting, trimming, and packaging.
• Mix nutrients, monitor irrigation systems, and track plant growth to ensure crops reach full potential.
• Perform facility and equipment sanitation to maintain high cleanliness and compliance.
• Document data and complete production batch records for regulatory compliance and traceability.
• Operate processing equipment and assist with setup and maintenance of post-harvest areas.
• Follow SOPs and GPP to meet Health Canada standards.

What You’ll Do

As a General Labourer, you’ll help bring our plants to life by:
