Job summary

Sobeys in Canmore is hiring a Meat Production Clerk to help prepare high-quality cuts, greet customers, and maintain engaging displays on the meat counter. You will work closely with the team to deliver friendly service while following safety and quality standards.

Experience in retail meat cutting is preferred. You will handle knives, saws, and power equipment, stock shelves, write orders, and support merchandising efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail meat cutting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of various cuts of meat is an asset.

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations.
• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with company's programs.
• Cut and prepare meat products for display using knives and saws.
• Stocking various meat products to shelves.
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with company programs.
• Use of commercial power equipment.
• Order writing.
• Receiving and rotating product.
• Filling product showcases.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of work area.
