Cando Community School is located in the Hamlet of Cando. Our school has a Kindergarten to Grade 12 program, attended by students from the Red Pheasant Cree First Nation, Mosquito First Nation, and surrounding areas. Caretakers are responsible for the cleaning, sanitization and maintenance of their assigned facility to ensure a safe and healthy environment for student body, staff and visitors entering the school.
This posting is for a Full-Time Caretaker at Cando Community School, to commence as soon as possible. Position hours are eight (8.0) hours daily (1.0 FTE) Monday through Friday. As a Caretaker, you will focus on keeping the school clean and maintained to provide an optimal learning setting for our students. The successful candidate must possess well developed interpersonal skills, be energetic, have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.
This position includes janitorial work, groundskeeping, seasonal tasks, and some maintenance.
