Job description
Honorarium Position

Spearhead the unique and exciting Movember campaign, and organize the look-book, merchandise and marketing surrounding the cause. Create a close-knit community with your team by participating in local cancer initiatives and contribute to some of the largest and most recognizable Community Outreach Commission events. Help raise awareness, funds and organize volunteers that accumulate to make a lasting impact in the community. Work closely with your Co-Chair, the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners, and the Community Outreach Commissioner to make a tangible and lasting impact in the Queen’s community.

Expected Time Commitment and Remuneration

12-month term from May 1st, 2025 to April 30th, 2026 with a time commitment of 5 hours/week.

  • Eligible candidates must have paid the Arts & Science Undergraduate Membership Fee.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Organize weekly meetings with the committee.
  • Work with your co-chair and committee to organize and execute events and initiatives.
  • Hire committee members and volunteers and act as a liaison between all parties.
  • Maintain contact with the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners and the Community Outreach Commissioner to best access ASUS resources.
  • Assist in Commission-wide meetings, events and initiatives.
