Job Summary: The Detachment Commander OSR supports the planning and training of all operator analysts (OA) activities for CWES and UOTS exercises. They must be able to coordinate the activities and personnel of the site in order to meet the training aims/objectives of the training audience. This involves planning with the training leadership, allocating resources to meet the tasks, and providing detailed supervisory oversight and direction. They will be required to instruct, demonstrate, and provide information on the operations of the CWES and UOTS systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Four year college degree or equivalent, plus four years’ experience in working knowledge of military operations, training and procedures. Ability to analyze training and create AAR products. Able to multi-task to include running multiple technological systems concurrently. Very familiar and comfortable using computers and associated hardware. Experienced with Microsoft Office programs. Proof of the legal right to work in Canada and secret security clearance from the Canadian Government. Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Able to work with minimal supervision. Requires the ability to lift 50 lbs. May be required to travel periodically, both nationally and internationally. Prefer Minimum 10 years military experience. Combat Arms (Infantry, Armor, Artillery and Engineer with former rank MWO – Major, Experienced with AARs, and bilingual in English/French.
Job location is in Wainwright, Canada.
Cubic Pay Range:
$70,000.00 - $130,000.00 + benefits.The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
