PointClickCare is hiring a Technical Program Manager in Canada to oversee Data Migration projects, scheduling, capacity planning, and go‑live readiness. You will collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Customer Success, and delivery teams to balance priorities and drive efficient delivery.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Technical Services, you will champion AI‑assisted workflows, governance, and data‑driven decision making to improve outcomes and scalability in a fast‑paced healthcare tech

Qualifications

  • Experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong ability to manage project schedules, delivery commitments, stakeholder communications, and competing priorities in a customer‑facing environment.
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, resource forecasting, workload management, and operational performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with Data Migration methodologies, ETL processes, data integration concepts, and systems design principles.
  • Experience using project/operational platforms like JIRA, Kimble, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements, technical dependencies, and Data Migration delivery processes to support successful project execution.
  • Serve as the primary interface between Sales, Project Managers, Resource Management, and delivery teams for project intake, scheduling, prioritization, and delivery coordination.
  • Manage project demand, resource forecasting, and capacity planning activities to balance project workload and organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate Data Migration go‑live readiness and execution activities with Project Managers and technical delivery teams.
  • Monitor project portfolios, identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive mitigation and escalation as needed.
  • Maintain project requests, schedules, dashboards, operational metrics, templates, and project documentation.
  • Lead post‑project reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and support AI-powered tools and intelligent automation solutions for better scheduling and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.

Travel to Office expectations

About the role

As a Technical Program Manager within Technical Services, you will be responsible for managing project scheduling, capacity planning, delivery governance, and go‑live readiness for Data Migration initiatives. Working closely with Sales, Project Managers, Customer Success Managers, Resource Management, customers, and technical delivery teams, you will ensure projects are prioritized, planned, and delivered on schedule while balancing organizational capacity and business objectives. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence through process improvement, automation, AI‑enabled solutions, and data‑driven decision‑making that enhance delivery efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic problem‑solving, and the ability to navigate multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead post‑project reviews, root cause analysis activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve delivery outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Successfully manage multiple competing priorities while ensuring alignment to customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and support the implementation of AI‑powered tools, AI agents, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions that improve project scheduling, reporting, capacity planning, operational visibility, knowledge management, and decision‑making.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, security, compliance, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, delivery commitments, stakeholder communications, and competing priorities in a customer‑facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning, resource forecasting, workload management, and operational performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of Data Migration methodologies, ETL processes, data integration concepts, and systems design principles.
  • Experience using project and operational management platforms such as JIRA, Kimble, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Experience working in production, SaaS, healthcare technology, or customer delivery environments.
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI, AI copilots, intelligent automation, or agent‑based solutions to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Understanding of workflow automation, prompt engineering, AI governance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self‑motivated with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Your key Strengths

  • Experience with healthcare technology solutions, including EHR, EMR, Pharmacy, or clinical systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, AI Builder, Azure AI Services, OpenAI technologies, Anthropic (Claude), or comparable AI platforms.
  • Experience developing, implementing, or managing AI agents, digital assistants, chatbots, or workflow automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern data and analytics platforms such as Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and enterprise reporting solutions.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications.
