Job description

Job Summary:

At PointClickCare, Technical Program Managers are strategic enablers of product outcomes, connecting strategy, delivery, and learning across our product and engineering ecosystem. You’ll orchestrate complex initiatives that span products, platforms, and domains, ensuring empowered teams have the clarity, alignment, and flow to deliver meaningful customer and business impact.

The Importance of the Technical Program Manager and playing a key role in PointClickCare's mission, you are part of PointClickCare’s evolution toward an empowered, product‑led organization, where outcomes define success and flow defines health. You’ll operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and platform - driving systems that enable every team to deliver with purpose, speed, and measurable impact.

You bring clarity to complexity, align teams around shared outcomes, and accelerate delivery with purpose and precision.

Reporting into the Director, Delivery Orchestration

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable product outcomes: Partner with Product and Engineering Leads to translate strategy and OKRs into coordinated execution plans, ensuring teams stay focused on delivering measurable customer and business value.
  • Orchestrate multi-team initiatives: Lead cross-team efforts spanning product, infrastructure, and platform capabilities - ensuring alignment, dependency visibility, and sustainable flow.
  • Drive clarity and flow: Remove ambiguity by connecting business intent to execution signals. Use delivery and outcome metrics to inform, not control, decision‑making.
  • Harness AI for insight: Use AI‑driven analytics to surface risks, detect bottlenecks, and generate proactive recommendations that improve velocity and predictability.
  • Champion empowered delivery: Coach teams on healthy operating rhythms and data‑driven practices that balance autonomy with alignment.
  • Bridge strategy to execution: Facilitate alignment between senior product, design, and engineering leaders - making trade‑offs visible, decisions explicit, and accountability shared.
  • Shape systems and culture: Contribute to how PointClickCare executes at scale, evolving shared tools, processes, and frameworks that amplify impact across the portfolio.
  • AI fluency and curiosity: Understanding of applied AI concepts; comfort using AI tools to support analysis, documentation, and decision‑making; awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices in engineering environments.
  • Travel to company onsite – 25% for eligibility: (No further description provided.)
Your Key Strengths:
  • Proven track record delivering complex programs (SaaS, large systems) that span multiple teams and domains (platform, product, data).
  • Technical fluency – you understand system architectures, APIs, integration patterns, and can engage in technical design conversations. (Frequent collaboration with Engineering)
  • Systems‑level thinking – you see cross‑cutting dependencies and can reason about how one program impacts others.
  • Influence without authority – you align stakeholders, manage conflict, and build consensus across teams with different priorities.
  • Data‑driven mindset – you define and use meaningful metrics to track health, predict issues, and drive decisions.
  • Bias toward action & ownership – when ambiguity hits, you drive clarity and momentum.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to tailor messages and status to technical teams, product partners, and senior leadership.
  • Passion for using technology, including AI, to improve how teams work, decide, and deliver.
  • You connect dots across the portfolio to drive outcome alignment and accelerate flow.
  • You coach teams to operate with greater autonomy, velocity, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • You embody AI‑first leadership, role‑modeling intelligent ways of working that elevate how the organization learns and executes.
Skills And Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex software programs in TPM/EPM or similar roles.
  • 3+ years driving multi-team initiatives across product and platform or infrastructure.
  • Experience translating strategy and OKRs into execution plans, managing dependencies, risks, and delivery health signals.
  • Proficient with program execution and delivery tooling (Jira, Confluence, Aha! or equivalents) for planning, dependency management, status reporting, and stakeholder visibility.
  • Technical fluency in modern software systems (APIs, architectures, integration patterns) and ability to engage in technical design conversations.
  • Experience using metrics to improve predictability, flow, and outcomes; comfort using AI tools to support analysis and decision‑making.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 a year (Canada)
  • Bonus: 15%
  • Benefits: Benefits starting from Day 1; Retirement Plan Matching (RRSP and 401K); Flexible Paid Time Off; Lifestyle/Wellness Spending Account; Parental & Caregiver Leaves; Fertility & Adoption Support; Continuous Development Support Program; Employee Assistance Program; Learning Programs & Resources; Employee Recognition and more.
